Eskom has suspended 4 employees that appeared in a Carte Blanche episode  that aired on the 24th of Jan. The employees, whose faces were masked and voices disguised during the show, were identified by pseudonyms. The four were suspended pending an interview where they will need to motivate why should not be fired.

Eskom failed to find the appropriate BBBEE skills here, so they went to headhunt skills in America. I guess the biggest perk of using forein contracted skills is Eskom can do what they want without fear of the South African labour courts. The best part is how they tried to pass off these foreign employees as "local" Black South African.

Talk about having your cake AND eating it!
