Deputy Trade and Industry minister buys 2 cars and saves the taxpayer money
In probably one of the most bizarre explanations for needlessly splashing on luxury cars, the deputy Trade and Industry minister Thandi Tobias-Pokolo colourfully explained how she saved the South African taxpayer R700 000 after spending R1.1 Million.
I’m saving the taxpayer R700 000 because I’m only spending R1.1m on cars while the ministerial handbook allows me to spend up to R1.8m
